Nestled among a stretch of cozy coastal communities,
just past Panama City not quite
to Tallahassee,
is a place some call Florida’s
Forgotten
Coast. A memorable piece of paradise
reminiscent
of a childhood summer vacation
spent with
grandparents, aunts and lifelong
friends.
A time and a place when life
was simpler.
Those that have discovered the
miles of pristine
waterways of Florida’s panhandle
have discovered
that it is possible to build
that memory
for their children and grandchildren.
Creating Extraordinary Returns On Investments...
from Concept to Completion.
Kay Eubanks founded both Forgotten Coast
Development company and established Coldwell
Banker Forgotten Coast Realty in June 2002.
After nearly 35 years of real estate, development
and investing in Tallahassee she ventured
south into the great Northwest of Florida
where she assembled a team of highly skilled
professionals to uncover the many thrilling
investment opportunities that lie hidden
in the sugar white sands of Florida’s forgotten
coast. The results were, like the landscape,
truly unforgettable.
Kay Eubanks has dedicated
her life to the
pursuit of living life
to its fullest. A
native of Alabama, her
earliest childhood
memories involve swimming
off the dock of
her lakefront home and
fishing for crappie,
bass, catfish or anything
that would bite
a hook. Today the water
is a part of what
makes Kay rise each morning
to seize the
day. It was only fitting
that she would call
the wonderful waterways
of Florida’s Forgotten
Coast home.
Kay’s 35-year career in
real estate and development
began in Tallahassee where
she owned and
operated Eubanks Realty,
Inc., Eubanks Development
Company, Inc. and was cofounder
of Community
Realty, an accumulation
of seven real estate
companies under one ownership.
Kay later
teamed with Chip Hartung
to form Coldwell
Banker Hartung-Eubanks,
Inc. All of these
ventures quickly achieved
market dominance
and maintained a leadership
role for many
years. While in Tallahassee,
Kay achieved
top sales agent many times
over. She was
elected Treasurer of the
Tallahassee Board
of Realtors, appointed
to the Grievance and
Professional Standards
Committees, in addition
to serving on the Building,
Finance, MLS,
By-Laws, Civic and Social
Committees. Kay
served as member of a Bank
Advisory Board
and is a past Governor
appointee to the state
of Florida Grievance Committee
for the Florida
Bar Association.
Kay’s social contributions
to the communities
she calls home are as impressive
as her professional
accreditations. A founder
and past board
of director for the Ronald
McDonald house
n Tallahassee, she also
served on the Board
of the Denver Ronald McDonald
House and the
Make a Wish Foundation.
Her contributions
to the poor, the elderly,
the needy and especially
to the children of the
communities she serves
are too numerous to detail,
rather suffice
it to be said that she
is one of the area’s
philanthropists that works
with an open heart
and arms to embrace those
less fortunate
than she and her family.
A brilliant 35-year career
has bestowed many
professional designations
on Kay.
A few of the more notable
are:
G.R.I. (Graduate Realtors Institute)
C.R.S. (Certified Residential Specialist)
C.R.B. (Certified Residential Broker)
R.R.S. (Residential Resort Specialist)
C.C.I.M. (Candidate-Council of Commercial
Investments)
Her degree is from Samford
University
Post graduate work from
University of
Alabama, Florida State
and Harvard
University.
Kay’s vision, acumen, endless energy and
tenacity are just a few of the attributes
that set her apart from all others in the
market. She is the cornerstone of the companies
she leads and is the driving force behind
much of the markets she serves. Kay has raised
two children. Her son Clay has joined her
in the daily direction of the companies and
her daughter Stacy and her husband Russell
have just become the proud parents of a daughter
who has become the namesake of her grandmother.
A fuller life can only be imagined, until
of course Kay finds the next mountain to
climb or the next development project to
make a reality. When ask how she has accomplished
so much in such as short timeframe, Kay stated,
“My faith, my family and a passion to make
something truly spectacular out of what others
think is nothing more than a piece of property,
that’s what make me whole. I have the best
job in the world, making the investment dreams
of so many people become a reality and doing
it in the most incredible place in the world-Florida’s
Forgotten Coast.”
